St Andrew's Day
The Edinburgh Cape Society, November Manor is a kind invitation from Sir Row-an-Lea to join him in a celebration of all things Scottish which will include a Scottish themed dinner / supper. An indication of numbers attending would be greatly appreciated.
Meet at Neil's, Port Seton, 7 for 7.30. Guests welcome.

Knights and guests gathered for, as Blackadder would describe it, a slap-up dinner at Mrs Miggins' pie shop: all food with a St Andrews Day theme. Steve's Cullen Skink to start, followed by lashings of steak pie and the option of stovies. This was all scooped off with a huge portion of apple crumble and custard. All courtesy of Neil. There was a short reading by Steve on Mathematician David Gregory, subject of a satirical eulogy by Fergusson. This poem was written while Fergusson was at the University of St Andrews: the most Cape-like link ( other than Jake) to St Andrews Day. The evening continued with chat and conviviality... and the hard-working Colin taking a snooze. A good night was had by all. Special thanks to top host Neil for giving up his home.
