- Welcome
- We are Knights of The Cape Society
- Our members, our Companion Knights, are committed to each other's well-being. We promote harmony within our Society and encourage honourable and dignified behaviour among our members. These key qualities are embodied in our watchwords: Concordia Fratrum Decus.
-
Behold how good a thing it is,
And how becoming well
Together, such as brethern are,
In unity to dwell.
- Concordia
- When speaking of Concordia, we refer to the harmony, the glue, which binds Knights of The Cape Society: Knights' hearts beat as one.
- Fratrum
- In our utterance of Fratrum, we recount our collective strength which comes from many tight and loyal relationships between Knights of The Cape Society.
- Decus
- Our cries of Decus, instill in us the sense of honour and dignity we admire and foster in ourselves and our Companion Knights.
- Convivial
- As well as the grand core values and ideas contained in our watchwords, we are a convivial society which meets twice a month to enjoy a drink in friendly and comfortable surroundings. We recall tales of our recent exploits as a society and discuss topics relevant to our beloved city of Edinburgh.

- Burns Night
- The doors of the bonnie haugh (level ground by a river) ("My Mary's asleep by thy murmuring stream") swing open to celebrate the birthday of The Bard. Expect all things Scottish; and remember, if it's not Scottish, it's crap.
-
Meet at Martin and Mary's between 19 and 19:30.
As space is limited, so are invites. If you're on the guest list, you'll know.
