- Knights and guests are invited for an evening of pool, darts and cheesy nachos. The Cape shall cover the cost and the winner shall receive a nice snooker cue, kindly donated by Jimmy.
- Meet at The Ballroom, Morningside between 19.30 and 20.00. The games begin at 20.00. Guests welcome.

A couple of Knights kicked off the Games night by avoiding an overcrowded Canny Man's in favour
of 'wee' Bennets before the competition began to hot up in The Ballroom.
An interesting initial draw in the pool saw Steve v brother Derran, Martin v wife Mary,
guest Mark v gaffer Colin and Neil v Gordon.
After many balls had been battered around, including
a few across the establishment, Steve emerged triumphant with
Jimmy's queue in hand. It was time for nachos... then darts. Many arrows flew true
but many were also left hanging from the rubber surround or other patrons. Derran was
obviously the one who'd been watching Robin Hood that day as he
won and received the coveted set of darts, again, kindly donated by Jimmy.
"Thanks Jimmy!"
Knights and guests retired to The Canny Man's where Cape funds were
dealt a blow in favour of whisky: pain worth bearing and an 'extravagance' long overdue.
A few Knights and guests also visited The Royal Oak where Mark
kindly/inebriatedly committed to joining The Cape Society. Well done Mark!
The pictures tell the story of the evening well. Co-incidentally, the bench was
still on The Bridges the following Monday night (witnessed with a smile by Steve on his walk home from aikido).
