Knights Dez, Martin, Colin and Mark met in
Dreadnought
to taste the 'delights' of vegan (or was it gluten-free) beer.
There was a lot to cover in Newhaven and some Knights were still to
have tea so it was quickly on to the local Chinese for chilli chips.
A quick stop outside the Annfield Bar (once mooted as a permanent Cape Hall)
was followed by a walk to Great Michael Rise where Martin gave an insight in to
the source of the street's name.
Next, it was on to Whale Brae before a look at the "Newhaven Stone" and
a peep in to the graveyard acquired for use by the Society of Free Fishermen.
The former harbour, now the square the Harbour Inn sits in (Fishmarket Square),
was the final destination and a convivial point for a pint in The Harbour Inn.
