- Helena, Kirsty, Anne, Colin, Dez and Steve made it along to the hastily arranged November Manor: an insight in to St Andrew Square and a look at some of the statues in east Princes Street gardens. Regardless of all the media attention around #MeToo it was good to see the number of Ladies and female guests match that of the blokes... For the first time in a long time. The company met in Tiles before heading out in to a relatively cold night to listen to Steve wax about the history of St Andrew Square and some Cape Connections, one of them being the former home of Lord Henry Brougham: a present Knight's pseudonym. Dez then took over and literally quizzed everyone over the identity of statues of Livingstone, Scott and Black in The Gardens. Knights and guests retired to the Guildford Arms for a night cap before heading off in to the night greatly enlightened. Thanks to all Knights and guests who turned up.
