Fergusson Pilgrimage
Another opportunity to honour the memory of one of The Cape Club's favourite sons.
Meet in The Tolbooth Tavern between 19:30 and 20:00. We'll head graveside at 20:00 (so, unless you're prepared to down it in five minutes, don't buy yourself a pint at 19:55). Guests welcome

An unusual mix of live action and video-link, this pilgrimage to the grave of Robert Fergusson saw Steve and Martin meet at the Scotsman bar at the top of Cockburn Street before moving down the Royal Mile whilst using the skills and technology in the hands of Martin to bring Colin and, after a while, Terry in to virtual view. Once at Fegusson's graveside, Steve read a bit of Fergusson's poetry and warmed Sir Precentor's bones with a little whisky. Then it was off to The Kilderkin for a few convivial real and virtual drinks. It was good to see the local pub quiz was going strong, well supported by quite a few teams spread across the establishment.

Thanks to everyone who came along to remember one of the Cape Club's favourite sons.
