Escape From Alco-Pops
A Social to celebrate and show the deepest appreciation of living the life of the Enlightened Cape Club.
Sadly and very abnormally, this is a limited, 'ticketed' Manor and all tickets have been allocated. The Society will again be in a position to accommodate all Knights and guests soon.

Mark, Phil, Martin, Colin and Steve wrapped up and settled down in the new, beautifully constructed, conceived and decorated outdoor grotto at the Victoria Park Hotel (VPH). The heaters in each cubby-hole were very welcome, as were all the Knights who turned out. Colin did an excellent job of keeping the timed-heater on using his telescopic crutches. The VPH owner and some of the staff were very pleased to see Knights back in Cape Hall and the evening of conviviality passed all too quickly with quite a few pints, Balvenie 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask, Tamdhu and Laphroaig 10 Year Olds all whetting whistles.

The evening was a welcome reminder of the benefit and, one might add, necessity of close-quarter conviviality. Knights greatly appreciated this.
