- Join the Cape Society at the next meeting of the Leith Local History Society to hear Ailsa Clarke talk on suffragettes: 'A Gude Cause Maks a Strong Arm'.
- The talk starts at 7pm in the Leith Kirkgate Community Education Centre and costs £2 for non-members of the Leith Historical Society.

An informative and educational talk (the difference between suffragette and suffragist being just one example)
was followed by trips to The Marksman (a first time for some) and Central Bar where, as well as beer,
punters were given the opportunity to buy cheese. Hmm.
Thanks to the Leith Historical Society and all the Knights who braved a chilly night to learn more about the fight for the illusion of involvement.
