- Kirkwall reported 25 attendees enjoyed the Annual Turtle Feast in October. He recollected the speakers and toasters on the evening but mentioned disappointment at the lack of oats in the cranachan. A quote of , “If you don’t dig deep enough, you don’t get your oats”, tickled the fancy of W.S. North Leith was keen to hear a report on the BBQ which took place the day after the Turtle Feast courtesy of W.S. Row-an-Lea obliged, during which time, Meadows entered Cape Hall. Sir Brougham added a few comments on the hospitality of W.S. at his BBQ including lovely lasagne and lamb (courtesy of one of W.S.’s students, Geoff).
