The May Manor will be a trip over to the Kingdom of Fife with the primary objective being to visit Sir St Andrews' grave. Following this solemn duty, Colin proposes we make our way into Dunfermline to visit some places of interest and local hostelries, (full details and itinerary t.b.c.) - Depart Edinburgh Waverley Train Station, circa 1:00 p.m. Guests welcome.

The Manor was postponed a day to the Sunday. Colin drove Steve to Barbara's house in Dunfermline where they also met Barbara's friend John: a direct descendent of Rob Roy McGregor.
After some reminiscing of Jake, they all travelled to the graveyard and Barbara laid some flowers.
It's possible the reason Dave found it difficult to find the grave on his visit because
it's inscription on the stone faces away from the path. After a short, quiet period remembering Jake,
Barbara and John returned to their house and Colin and Steve
did a reccy of Dunfermline town centre in anticipation of future visits to the graveside of one
of the Cape Society's most learned and colourful characters. Rest in peace Jake: the Cape misses you.
