Knights and guests this months Manor shall be a walking tour of the Pilrig/Bonnington area (honestly it's better than it sounds)... Knights and guests are invited to gather at the burnt out remains of the Bonnington Bridge Bar in Newhaven Road....
Meet at the former Bonnington Bridge Bar on Newhaven Road at 19.30. Guests welcome.

Martin led Colin, Mark and Dez around the industrial landscape of the Anderson Street neighbourhood in the Pilrig and Bonnington area, including a look at the Biscuit Factory. Steve caught up with the rest of the crew at Leith Depot where Knights politely turned down the offer of some live music in exchange for a fiver. After a couple of drinks, Knights sauntered to one of the pubs featured in a Leith pub quiz many moons ago: the Alhambra. The quiz clue revolved around it being named after the picture house which used to be nearby. Conversation revolved around many topics, including spectacles, what not to stick in your ear and karaoke... Country Rooooad... A short and fairly shoddy singing video clip is available on request.
