Abbeyhill
The March Manor is a wander around Abbeyhill as well as a look at some of the closeby pubs referenced in the Leith Pub Guide authored by Sir North Leith.
Meet in The Safari Lounge between 7.30 and 8 p.m. We'll leave by 8. Guests welcome.

Colin, Steve, Phil and Martin met in the Safari Lounge and downed a pint whilst Steve recounted stories of sitting in the same establishment when it was named The Station Bar. It had a water feature on that occassion: a leaky front window. From the station bar, Knights looked over on the old Abbeyhill train station before moving on to have a look at the colony houses and visit the Artisan bar where Phil worked many years ago. From there, it was on to look at the former site of the Regent picture house and hear a few stories about it. Then came the Regent Bar and finally Middleton's where Sir North Leith's pub guide came in handy. We left a copy for the regulars.
