Turtle Feast
The traditional, annual Turtle Feast fast approaches once more. Please bring a spurtle and your best/worst singing voice for another feast of convivial frivolity. Here's reminder of last year's.

25 turtle feasters enjoyed another evening of high-jinks and all things turtle, including freelance writer, Sandy, who was researching for a potential article on 'supper clubs'. The mock turtle soup was very well received. It was unfortunate some other aspects of the food were below standard. However, this had no adverse effect on singing or addresses or toasts. Thanks to all who attended, particularly Rose who very capably (again) managed the raffle which raised a fair amount for the wine fund. It was good to see her and Bill back and looking great. Also thanks to those who were very generous with prizes for the raffle and those for whom it was their first Turtle Feast experience.

Thanks to everyone who attended. Spurtles away until next year.
